Content Engagement Manager

Description

The content engagement manager is a multi-faceted contributor who proactively seeks out opportunities to help clients and teams get projects done successfully and move business forward. This role has dual focuses in social media: community engagement, and content development. It ladders up to the Social Program Manager and reports to the Director of Content Marketing.

Core Duties

  • Community Management: Manage communication through client-owned social channels, including direct interactions with platform users
  • Proactively seek out opportunities to maximize audience engagement through social platforms, and execute with account and project management teams
  • Tracking responses and any necessary escalation of issues and their resolutions through social platforms and sharing on a regular basis with appropriate internal teams
  • Social Content Creation: Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners to bring social-forward thinking and functionality to creative concepts
  • Execute low-production shoots to translate creative concepts into social media content assets
  • Work collaboratively with art directors, copywriters, designers and cross-functional partners to translate content and marketing strategies into creative concepts that maximize paid and organic social placements
  • Cross-Discipline Collaboration: Manage creative social brainstorms with teams from different disciplines; drive energy and ideas forward; be prepared but not prescriptive; follow up with notes and next steps
  • Create and maintain social calendars, coordinating with project managers and account teams where necessary.
  • Trouble-shoot and provide solutions to keep projects moving forward, specifically in regard to recommendations around best practices and/or limitations of social platforms
  • Analytics and Reporting: Execute and assist on reporting and analytics efforts, including in crafting any recommendations that come out of data findings

Desired Experience

  • 2-3+ years of experience managing brands on social programs.
  • Ability to collaborate and work fluently with coworkers; team player with great interpersonal skills; ability to work with multiple personalities.
  • Experience with Meta Business Manager, Social Media Scheduling Tools (such as Khoros, Hootsuite), Google Suite, Social Video Editing Tools (such as Capcut, Inshot, Canva)
  • Preferred experience, but not required: Adobe, Influencer Marketing Programs (such as Captiv8) and Social Ads Manager (Meta, LinkedIn).
  • Outstanding communications skills, attention to detail and organization.
