First, in the midst of a pandemic, Du Nord Craft Spirits pivoted to create hand sanitizer for our community. Now, they’ve lead the way in their fundraising efforts to help rebuild neighborhood businesses.
The Du Nord Riot Recovery Fund was created to help Black and brown-owned businesses – many who were uninsured or underinsured, to rebuild after the riots. Du Nord Craft Spirits also used their warehouse as a food pantry to help feed hundreds of families every week in what is now a food desert. They’ve also set up the Du Nord Foundation – a nonprofit set up to help diverse communities prosper.
